It still setting in. I’ve been working all year on this. First drafting ‘A Fistful of Magic’ then promoting the heck out of the box set it is in, Fire and Fantasy. The book itself is hands down my best. Each one I write I hope I improve over the last. I plan on doing a few sequels to Wash and Caitlyn’s adventure. They will have to wait a little while. Life is complicated for everyone! In the meanwhile, thank you for all your support and time in purchasing, reading, and reviewing A Fistful of Magic. I don’t write for me, or for my family, or honestly for the money (it is always nice though) I write to tell stories and entertain. If only one person ever read my book I would be okay with that, as long as they enjoyed it. Until next time,

Children are disappearing all over Seattle. When Detective John Yu’s niece goes missing under mysterious circumstances he fights fire with fire and calls in Alexi and Savanna. Missing children, however, are just the tip of the iceberg. With the help of a new coven of witches and some old friends, the duo has to find the missing children, save a stranded fae from certain death, and fight a bloodthirsty pack of werewolves. All in a day’s work for a vampire and a witch, until things get personal. With the fate of the world in the balance, Alexi must choose between saving her daughter or saving the planet.
Good news! Wreathed in Flame will be released on schedule Tuesday, December 27th! Despite my appendicitis, I have managed to make the final edits and send it off to the final round of proof-reading. I’m excited to see what everyone thinks of Alexi and Savanna’s latest adventure. Please feel free to message me on Facebook, email me or leave a comment below. Thank you all for being such awesome readers!
There is something undefinable about doing what you love. I used to think to do what you love meant hobbies and extracurricular activities. Playing games on the weekend, seeing movies, reading books, etc. The rest of the time you did what you had to do. Then I started seriously writing. A year ago today, I was half way through Blood Sacrifice thinking I might not finish it. Who was I to be a writer? Spoiler alert: I did finish it. Both With the Dawn and Blood Sacrifice have been a fantastic success for me. I’m not about to roll out of here on my private boat, but it is going to be more than enough to keep me writing. Probably for the rest of my life. Well, as long as I keep releasing books.
Yesterday With the Dawn went on a Kindle Fire sale. It is where people who own a Kindle Fire can buy books at a discount. Going into the sale I was nervous. What if it didn’t perform? What if my ranking didn’t move? What if it went down? Within an hour of the sale, a sale which included hundreds of books, I was under a thousand. An hour later I hit 400, then 180, 160, and finally 120. My author rank also shot way up and for a few glorious moments, I was the twenty-fifth best-selling author on in Fantasy on Amazon. Nearly 24 hours later and my ranking is still hovering under 500. I guess people like Alexi and Savanna. I’m glad and I hope they continue to like them as I release more books. I can’t tell you I will never end the series, but I don’t see that in the future yet.
All the best,
